HIgh-Flying iPad Fundraising Event

Hamilton, MA - The Hamilton Wenham Edfund held a unique fundraising event in an effort to help support a new technology initiative that will benefit all three elementary schools in the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District.  Attended by more than 150 people from across the community, the event, themed "Going Places," was held in an airplane hangar at Beverly Airport, and included several valuable auction items donated by the local individuals and businesses. According to initial estimates, more than $10,000 was raised through this one-night event, with all proceeds going towards the purchase of new iPads for each school.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
