Place, a charity that provides programs for young families with children, will
be holding its inaugural fundraising event at Slemon Park on May 25. The
fundraiser is called ‘P.E.I. Touch a Truck’ and is a family friendly event that
allows children and guests to see, touch and learn about a variety of vehicles
and how they operate. Over 40 trucks
will be available including fire trucks, police cruisers, farm equipment cement
