"Movember" Fundraising Event

Nottingham, UK - Staff members at a casino have challenged each other to see who can grow the best moustache in a bid to raise money for charity.  The 10-strong team at Genting Casino is embracing Movember’s annual fundraising initiative by growing a wealth of facial fuzz above their top lip.  Jackie Gomes, the casino’s general manager, said: “A large proportion of our customers and employees are male and it’s really important to raise awareness of men’s health issues, especially prostate cancer, as early diagnosis can make a real difference. The venue, in Burton Street, will also be hosting a ‘Moscars Fancy Dress Day’ where the casino’s Mo Bros will dress up as famous moustache-wearing celebrities.  Jackie said: “We’ll be presenting the best ‘mo with a prize which will include a fabulous shaving kit, unless of course they want to keep their fine specimens.”  www.fundraising-ideas.org
