- The Media-Upper Providence Library is hosting an event that combines the past
and an exciting future. The “Library
Prom” is a nostalgic way to support the project of a new, state-of-the-art and
welcoming facility. The Library Prom will be held at the Media Community Center. The theme for the event is “Rebuild Your
Library, Relive Your Prom, Creating the Next Chapter Together.” The 21-and-over event features food, music,
dancing, a 50-50 raffle and a chance to stuff the ballot box for prom “king”
and “queen.” Attendees are invited to pull out their old prom attire or use the
