South Bend, IN - In
less than a week, a fundraising event will take place to help put smiles on
children's faces. This is the sixth year of "Bears in the Air," put
on by the South Bend International Airport. A kickoff party is taking place Friday.
Admission is $15 and will give a bear to a child in one of several area
hospitals. Funds will also go to veterans at the Robert L. Miller, Sr.
Veteran's Center. At the event, there
will be light refreshments, cocktails, music and door prizes, including a $350
gift certificate for Four Winds Casino and roundtrip airfare from Delta. www.fundraising-ideas.org
