Stuursma and some brave staff-members took a chilly plunge Tuesday into Reeds
Lake. The dip fulfilled a promise Stuursma made to students he challenged to
raise $1,500 for the annual Grand Rapids Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch
Run Polar Plunge to be held Saturday on Reeds Lake, which benefits Special
Olympics in Kent and Ottawa Counties. Students raised nearly $3.000.
