Stomp the Swamp For Autism Fundraiser

Gainesville, FL — The sixth annual Stomp the Swamp for Autism will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 1 at the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.  The fitness event benefits UF’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, or CARD, which provides free services to more than 2,500 families from 14 North Central Florida counties.   Participants can run or walk the stadium steps or the inner track of the stadium and have the opportunity to win prizes in several categories.  Families are welcome, and children 12 and younger can join for free. A specialized track and fitness event will be available for children as well as arts, crafts and games hosted by UF student organizations.  The event will include live entertainment from radio station KISS 105.3, a silent auction and a free breakfast.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
