Pay it Forward Fundraiser to Feature Tipsy Texan Cocktails

Austin, TX - If you're going to throw a great party, you definitely need great drinks. David Alan owns the Tipsy Texan, a company that develops specialty cocktails for businesses, individuals and special events.  Alan and his company will be helping serve drinks at the fourth round of Pay it Forward with Daniel Curtis, an annual fundraiser that helps promote awareness about spinal cord injuries.  Curtis himself worked in the food and beverage industry before suffering a spinal cord injury about three years ago.  "While I was in the hospital, the local culinary community rallied and threw this great fundraising event for me," Curtis said. "It was such a success that we said, 'Let's do it again,' so now we're raising money for other people." Pay it Forward works with the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation to help others. Money raised will help pay for medical bills, therapy, rehabilitation equipment and other needs for people with new spinal cord injuries. www.fundraising-ideas.org
