— Relay for Life of Talbot County hosted a kickoff party Saturday at Idlewild
Park in Easton. Relay for Life of Talbot
County committee member Melissa Kelly said the goal of the event was to show
new teams what the event will look like, bring enthusiasm to the event,
register individuals and teams for Relay for Life and start fundraising for the
event. “Some people have been fundraising all year,” Kelly said. The kickoff
party included an elimination, lightning-round ’80s trivia game, Jazzercise,
free food, music, singing by Katelynn Cherry, games and face painting. www.fundraising-ideas.org
