- It was a celebration much like other years Feb. 7 in Wolfville, as the Hearts
on Ice fundraiser for the cardiac rehab program at Valley Regional Hospital
turned 20. Dr. Howard Wightman, one of the founders of the initiative 20 years
ago, was there at the start. His role these days is mostly honorary, but make
no mistake: Wightman still plays a part in both the cardiac rehab program and the
