Fundraising Event for Henry's Home, a Horse and Human Sanctuary

Houston, TX - Henry’s Home, a local nonprofit that bills itself as a “Horse and Human Sanctuary,” celebrated its second fundraising event with Southern Star Brewery Sunday.  This year’s event, hosted at Southern Star’s new location, aimed to raise funds for a new equine therapy program at Henry’s Home.  First incorporated in 2014, Henry’s Home serves two major functions. It takes in horses in need of a home, whether they have been mistreated or are about to be put up for auction, in order to care for them and nurse them back to health. In turn, the group offers arena rides, family time and therapeutic care sessions with the horses once they’re healthy and ready for play.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
