"Beanie Babies" Fundraising Event Probably Not What You Expected

Offerton, UK - Babies at Little Monkeys get to grips with the baked bean bath   Babies took part in a messy fundraising event that proved a far from half-baked idea - sitting in a giant tub of beans.  Young members of the Little Monkeys group, based at Woodbank Community Centre, in Offerton , raised more than £300 for charity Jump Space.   Mum Laura Carson, 27, who runs the group, bought 60 tins and emptied them into a large paddling pool.  Then the “Beanie Babies” jumped right in, some didn’t stay long, but some of them had a grand time and stayed for 15 minutes.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
