No Guff, All Golf at Mayor's Cup Golf Outing Fundraising Event

Bristol, CT — Bristol leaders past and present set aside their politics just for the afternoon at the 2016 Mayor’s Cup Golf Outing fundraising event on Monday at Chippanee Country Club.  The event, which benefits the Bristol Boys and Girls Club, is in its 16th year. It has been called the Mayor’s Cup for the last six years, said former Mayor Art Ward, who named the fundraising event when he was in office.  Now, with a full complement of 144 golfers, the greens were filled weeks before the entry deadline and more than a month before the event, said Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Michael Suchopar.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
