"Bottom of the Ninth" Fundraising Event to Save the Pyramid

Reno, NV - It’s pretty much now or never in the effort to Save the Pyramid.  The Save the Pyramid group will hold one more major fundraising party, called ‘Bottom of the Ninth,’ on Saturday, at the athletic complex near Swope Middle School.  The group trying to save the sports complex got the original bid to save the structure down to $1 million, from the original $1.5 million. The group has raised about $850,000 so far, from foundations, community members and donations.  The adults-only event was also held last year and raised $100,000 in one day.
