Telluride, CO - The
Telluride Historical Museum is jazzing up its fundraising efforts this week
with two museum events featuring the type of music that many in this town have
grown fond of. On Thursday, the 13th
annual Feasting on History benefit dinner will be held at the Sheridan Opera
House. “Having it at the opera house
made sense for us because it’s a historic building and we’re the history
museum,” he said. The event will include live jazz from local musical
outfit Spaghetti Sweater, a cocktail hour, dinner and a silent auction. On Sunday, the
museum will host its fourth annual “Evening with Ken Burns” fundraiser at the
Michael D. Palm Theatre. www.fundraising-ideas.org
