Elmira, NY -- An event
to support our local state police K9 unit is taking place this Saturday. Organizer Renee Chalk is hosting a
chicken BBQ at the Elmira Elks club this from 12 p.m. until 4
p.m. This past summer Chalk held
an event to purchase two K9s for the state police division in Horseheads. She's now hoping to raise enough money to
build a dog building that will allow the dogs to run and be active. www.fundraising-ideas.org
