Hairdressers Fundraise for Two Local Charities

North Yorkshire, UK - Hairdressers at a North Yorkshire salon are putting their dryers to good use this month when they set about raising money for two local charities. The staff at Halo Hair and Beauty in Harrogate are holding a blow-dry-a-thon, with all money from the event being donated to Harrogate’s Acorn Committee, which raises money for dementia patients, and Dementia Forward, which supports patients and care-givers.  As well as three-hours of non-stop blow-drying, and mini manicures by the salon’s beauty therapist, clients will enjoy home-made cupcakes and fizz and be offered the chance to win an award-winning HTC One phone in a raffle. www.fundraising-ideas.org
