Topeka, KS. -- A hidden gem in the Capitol City is receiving some new
life, thanks to community leaders. Board
members for the Historic Jayhawk Theatre presented Act One of its, three-step
fundraising plan to reopen the historic downtown theatre. Guests were invited inside Friday night to
hear new strategies, and make new friends, so they can get the theatre up and
running again. Board President, Jeff Carson says downtown renovation plans and
local partners point to a bright future. The Jayhawk Theatre turns 90 years old
