Climber Who Escaped Everest Quake to Hold Fundraiser for Victims

Phoenix, AZ - A Scottsdale woman who was rescued from Mt. Everest in April is holding a fundraiser Sunday, June 28, to benefit Nepalese earthquake victims.  Climber and business owner Haley Ercanbrack, 32, was attempting to scale the world's highest mountain in April when an earthquake-triggered avalanche trapped her and dozens of others on Everest. The fundraising event, "A Night for Nepal," is a cocktail party that will take place at Mod, a central Phoenix coworking space.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
