Facebook Fundraising Event Helps Struggling Coffeehouse

Sebring, FL — At Brewster’s Coffee Shop Thursday evening, the business was so brisk that employees had to take down names and track down customers to deliver their beverages.  But all that wasn’t because of the influx of snowbirds or a big sale, drawing in customers.  It was the culmination of fundraising efforts to help Bruce Rogers and his struggling coffee house. Many of the people attended the event because they received an invite on Facebook.  “I am overwhelmed and humbled,” Rogers said. “The outpouring of community support is nothing short of amazing.”  Rogers said any amount of support would help him stave off closing the business.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
