Garage Converted Into Dance Hall For Fundraising Event

Kittery, ME — After a seven-year hiatus, the dance concert held in the large repair bay of an auto garage is back this Saturday night.  Late Friday afternoon, auto technicians at Autoworks in Kittery will begin dismantling lift arms from vehicle lifts, moving tool boxes to the sides of the room, creating a stage on an alignment rack and removing the dust and grime from a nine-vehicle repair bay to transform it into the The Garage Dance, a fundraising event to raise money for Great Bay Services. The show, as in years past, is headlined by Ben Baldwin & the Big Note with “elegant swing music and funky rhythm & blues.”  This will be the 17th time Stephen Kosacz has turned his repair facility into a dance hall, and the first time since 2009.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
