Golf Fundraiser Contributes to Scholarship Funds

Farmington, NH — A golfing fundraiser at the Farmington Country Club will raise money for a scholarship that will honor a man’s love of art after his death.  Tyler Houghton, a 25-year-old Alton resident, was struck and killed by a car in May.  The fundraiser on Saturday will raise money through golfers and private donations. The money will be split between The Tyler Houghton Memorial Fund scholarship and an annual American Legion scholarship. Both scholarships will be received by students graduating in 2017 and attending college the following year.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
