- Rockport Fire Department, Inc., will
be hosting its third annual "toll booth" fundraiser Friday to help
raise money for some new extrication equipment and funds to award additional
college scholarships to support high school students in the community. Firefighters
will be standing this Friday at the intersection of Routes 17 and 90, between 2
and 6 p.m. Drivers who stop at the traffic light will have an opportunity to
voluntarily drop a donation in a firefighter's boot. www.fundraising-ideas.org
