Oglala Pet Project got started around five years ago, taking unwanted pets and
helping them find good homes, as well as providing veterinary care for the
animals since there is no vet on the reservation. But all of this can run a hefty price tag,
which is why the nonprofit holds Sit, Stay, Sip, their only fundraiser all
year. The event at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn featured live music,
