Annual Fundraising Cookie Walk Has Become a Tradition

White Bear Lake, MN - The holidays are a time to bake and eat sweets, but for those don’t have the time to bake or can’t anymore, attending the Gethsemane United Methodist Church’s annual fundraising cookie walk has become something like a tradition.  About 20 people waited in line to purchase gourmet holiday cookies as part of Gethsemane United Methodist Church 25th annual cookie walk on Saturday.  About 45 different members of the church baked 81 different kinds of cookies, which were sold by the pound. Attendees filled up multiple plastic trays and buckets with holiday treats such as marshmallow truffles, ginger bread cookies, peppermint spritz, tarts, macaroons, rosettes and peanut brittle.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
