Taste of Chocolate Fundraising Event

Carbondale, IL - The Women's Center Inc. will host the 2017 Taste of Chocolate fundraising event at the Carbondale Civic Center. The event includes a live and silent auction, 50/50 raffle and a variety of sweet and savory chocolate tastings.  Last year's event raised more than $35,000 for The Women's Center, according to a news release from the organization.  The Women's Center's mission is "to end domestic violence and sexual assault against women, men, adolescents, and children in Southern Illinois and to assist survivors of these crimes and their non-offending significant others," according to its website. The organization has served Southern Illinois for more than 40 years and is available daily to provide support. www.fundraising-ideas.org
