Community Free Clinic Fundraising Event

Hagerstown, MD - Over the years, the Community Free Clinic has helped thousands of uninsured county residents get the health care they need. But with political change under way in Washington, clinic officials believe their services will be especially important this year.  "We anticipate there will be a surge," clinic Executive Director Adam Roberson said Sunday afternoon during one of the largest fundraisers for the clinic.  Dozens of people crowded into The Gourmet Goat for auctions, food, drinks and other entertainment including female impersonator, Chi Chi, in an event that was expected to raise $20,000 to $25,000.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
