Farmers hosted donkey basketball at Crosby Middle School, offering students,
parents and others in the community a chance to ride to victory; however, most
found themselves unceremoniously tossed off more than once. "In the beginning, we hadn't bonded
yet," Coy Hearn said of his donkey, which generally just refused to move.
"Then, after 20 minutes - it felt like an hour and a half - we became one.
I've ridden horses, but nothing like this. These things are just hard-headed,
