— Patches of snow still remained on Eastern Point Beach on
Saturday, but participants at the fourth annual Seal Splash fundraiser to
benefit Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Program were undeterred from their
mission of running into the water.mmAt the sound of a horn and the start
of the song "Eye of the Tiger," about 55 participants
ran into the chilly water and splashed and shrieked. They then ran
back to dry off and join friends and family members standing
