Covington, OH - Tasty jambalaya, bead tossing and zydeco music let the good times roll at the 27th Mardi Gras for Homeless Children. Proceeds went to three Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky shelters that provide care to homeless children and their families. Mardi Gras featured more than 50 booths of food and beverages furnished by members of the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association. A Mardi Gras Parade was led by Beechwood High School Marching Band featuring the Royal Court: Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard as grand marshal. The event includes live music and silent auctions. www.fundraising-ideas.org
