– A creative fundraiser resulted in an auction for a pink boom truck and crane,
and a $205,000 donation to Marshfield Clinic for breast cancer research. Marshfield-based V&H Trucks Inc., has
supported the clinic's cancer research for more than 35 years. Tim Wolf,
general sales manager at V&H, said the company used its expertise in
fabricating construction vehicles to support the Marshfield Clinic Research

Coalition (MBCC) will be holding its annual, statewide Against the Tide swim,
kayak, walk and/or run fundraising events again in 2015. Proceeds benefit MBCC, which is the state’s

many years, the town of Blind River hosted the Dragon Boat races, before
deciding to retire the fundraising event in search of a new and exciting event
with a fundraising twist. In 2014, Blind
River hosted the 1st Annual Color Dash Festival and had over 250 participants. The town is gearing up for their second Color
Dash this June 2015. The Color Dash 5k
is an event to encourage and establish new goals for many people, by promoting
health and wellness while having a good time.

Lowell, VA - The
special connection between horses and humans was on display Sunday at the
second annual Blessing of the Horses Festival in Lowell. It's a community fundraising event put on by
the Roanoke Ranch for Kids, so families can interact with the animals. Ranchers
say a horse can have a surprising impact on human beings. "We work with
all different types of kids, horses have an ability to connect with people on a
level that I just can't really explain, you can only experience," said

Bay Ranch is inviting families out for an afternoon of fundraising activities
in an effort to send kids to camp. The
ranch is a summer camp and year-round group rental facility located near the
South Cooking Lake airport. It is holding a Family Fun Day on Saturday. The
event costs $20 per car or $10 per individual and the proceeds go towards
sending to camp kids whose families aren’t able to afford it, as well as

Mount Pleasant, WI — Rain and chilly temperatures didn’t keep almost 100 people
from taking a walk in the woods on Saturday.
The event was a fundraiser to benefit an organization aimed at helping
those with mental illnesses. It was the
sixth annual Movin’ 4 Mental Health 4K walk, hosted at Sanders Park. The Mount Pleasant park offered views of lush
trees and various flowers in bloom as walkers attempted to dodge raindrops
