New Orleans, LA - The
Children's Museum of St. Tammany —an in-progress interactive children's
learning and entertainment space being developed for Covington's Cultural Arts
District— has released details on its popular annual "Celebration"
fundraiser, which includes entertainment, live auction, cocktails, and a
"Culinary Showcase" where more than 40 area restaurants will vie for the
coveted "Celebration's Choice" honor.
This year's event will be taking place at Mandeville's Castine Center in Pelican
Park, will be called "Celebration: A Treasure Odyssey," and will be
hosted by WDSU television's chief meteorologist, Margaret Orr; Fox 8 New
Orleans Saints commentator Jim Henderson; and WWL TV sports director Doug
Mouton. As in 2014, entertainment will
come courtesy of live dance band, Groovy 7. The Fontainebleau High School Jazz
