Fundraising Event for FG Street Community Center

Lincoln, NE - The public is invited to a fundraiser to provide groceries for the F Street Community Center’s supper program, which serves thousands of free meals annually to children in the Everett and Near South neighborhoods.  The event is at O’Rourke’s Tavern.  It is sponsored by Star City Scene, an organization, which promotes local music in Lincoln. Funds will be raised through food sales and a silent auction for art and ornaments. Beverage charges are not part of the fundraising event.  The F Street Community Center is part of the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department, and more information is available at parks.lincoln.ne.gov.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
