Home Run Derby Fundraiser for Cancer

Lawrenceville, GA — Jack Ihm wore a wide smile as he sat behind home plate on Saturday morning at Coolray Field.  Not only did he get to take swings in a home run derby fundraiser  in the Gwinnett Braves’ ballpark, he did it for his friend Caroline “Danger” Clayton, who gave a sheepish reaction when that nickname was played over the public address system just before Jack stepped in the batter’s box. “I wanted to do it for her because she’s gone through so much, and this was the least I could do for her,” Jack said. “Every day, she’s fighting cancer, and I just hope I can make those days go by faster for her.”  www.fundraising-ideas.org
