Model Airplanes Take to the Skies in Fundraising Event

Fort Edward, NY  Members of the North Country Flying Tigers Model Airplane Club of Argyle have their fun by flying radio-controlled airplanes.  They also raise funds for charity while doing it.  Saturday, the club will hold its seventh annual Fun Fly Fundraiser, and this year, the proceeds will go to the American Legion’s Operation Comfort Warriors.  “It’s a very worthwhile cause,” event coordinator Jack Thelen said, noting the group provides non-medical assistance items to wounded veterans.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
