Creative Fundraiser Raises Thousands for Student with Cancer

Troy, MI - Students at Troy High School came up with some creative methods to fundraise between $20,000 and $30,000 so far for the family of a student diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Students could be rented out for a minimum bid of $5 and had to do whatever their “owner” asked, House said.  Some students had to do mundane tasks like carrying backpacks. Others had more challenging orders.  They made them do some funny things. One guy was walking around singing Christmas carols.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
