Relay for Jack Fundraising Event

Valencia, CA - Twenty participants in the inaugural Relay for Jack, held at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park on Saturday, ran, walked, skipped and raced through courses varying from 1 mile long to 25 miles long — all in an effort to raise money for pediatric cancer research.  Relay for Jack is a fundraising event for the non-profit group Jack’s Angels Foundation, which works to raise awareness and support for patients with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a pediatric brain tumor.  Kids courses and adult courses were spread out amongst the landmark Agua Dulce park rock formations. www.fundraising-ideas.org
