Duct Tape Fundraiser for Child with Cancer

Addison. MI — Addison Elementary School students on Tuesday helped raise nearly $500 as part of ongoing fundraising efforts to help a local 3-year-old boy in need of a new liver.  Elementary students paid $1 for a long strip of duct tape to stick Addison Elementary Principal John Williams to the elementary gym wall during an assembly. The money raised will assist Callen Hall, who is battling hepatoblastoma, a form of pediatric liver cancer. Hall is the son of Rebecca Wipp, a 2000 Addison graduate.  Each year, Addison students, through the student council, hold a “Pennies for Patients” fundraiser to benefit children with illnesses. Hall was chosen because of his connection to Addison.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
