Bridegeport, WV - Along
the riverfront, WVU's Council for Women's Concerns held its second annual
Champagne for SANES fundraising event. SANES
are sexual assault nurse examiners. These nurses are trained to help victims of
sexual assault through compassionate and competent medical patient care. With
April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the group hopes to bring awareness
to those nurses and help expand their training. While the first step is free
and online, the other training can be costly. Organizers hope this event can
