Eastwood, OH - The Miracle League
of Lake County, is hosting the First Pitch Fundraiser to generate the money
needed to build the universally adapted baseball playing field and playground
at Classic Park in Eastlake. The playing field and playground are designed to
allow special-needs children the opportunity to play baseball and play with
less risk of injury by playing on a special rubberized turf designed to
accommodate wheelchairs and other needed devices. The event will include a
50/50 raffle, $3 and $5 side boards with $300 and $500 payouts, a double
reverse raffle, silent auction and Chinese auction. Chinese auction tickets to
be sold at 26 for $5.
