New Fundraising Event for Young Professionals to Benefit American Heart Association



Honolulu, HI - The American Heart Association’s new fundraising event is a party with a purpose. The fun, social affair is an opportunity to mix business with pleasure, with a goal to raise $60,000 to support the Association’s mission. Fundraising Event to Benefit New England Center for Homeless Veterans



Hingham, MA--In honor of all those who have served our country, Reebok CrossFit Bare Cove and the Hingham Sports partnership partnered to host a workout and fundraising event in Hingham to benefit the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.  More than 100 athletes, including those from the Reebok CrossFit Bare Cove community, performed the “Murph” challenge, which was created in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Doggone Good Fun at Bark For Life Fundraising Event



Duke Center, PA - It was tail wagging fun on Sunday afternoon at the Otto Recreational Park in Duke Center.  Many community members and their four-legged friends gathered to participate in the “Bark for Life” fundraising event  Participants started out their day with a one-mile walk around the park with their furry friends. Hooray for Hollywood Fundraising Event

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, hosted their sixth annual charity fundraising event, Hooray for Hollywood, to benefit the Indiana Members Foundation, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, on Saturday. Over 150 people attended the event which raised over $19,000 for the Indiana Members Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to provide school children in the Indianapolis and surrounding communities with the necessities essential for learning and succeeding in their education. Highlights of the evening included hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction with online bidding, casino entertainment, DJ and dance floor, awards for best dressed, and an opportunity to take candid photos in the photo booth.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Fundraiser KIck-Off Party for Relay for Life



Easton, MD — Relay for Life of Talbot County hosted a kickoff party Saturday at Idlewild Park in Easton.  Relay for Life of Talbot County committee member Melissa Kelly said the goal of the event was to show new teams what the event will look like, bring enthusiasm to the event, register individuals and teams for Relay for Life and start fundraising for the event. “Some people have been fundraising all year,” Kelly said. YMCA Strongs Kids Campaign Fundraising Monte Carlo Night



Sydney, Australia — The YMCA of Cape Breton is preparing to host its first Monte Carlo night.  The event is a mock casino in support of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and will feature cuisine by local chefs, wine tasting, a dessert buffet, live entertainment, casino games and a live and silent auction. Nepal Night Fundraiser for Victims of Earthquakes



Davenport, IA - Shreeti Adhikari and her mother will leave for their native Nepal in two weeks to help and spend time with relatives who have endured two deadly earthquakes.  But Wednesday night, the 16-year-old Pleasant Valley High School junior was content to support Nepal Night, a fundraiser at Scott Community College in Bettendorf to provide needed supplies for people in Nepal. The event was coordinated with the Quad-Cities Nepal Society and included food, a silent auction and a show that presented music and dance from various international student organizations.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
