Community Holds Fundraiser for Sick Child

Bountiful, UT - Enjoying a day of fun and fundraising helps a local family deal with mounting medical bills.  A day full of activities, including a 5K run/walk, bake sale, yard sale, blood drive and evening concert, was held at the Bountiful City Park. The event was to raise funds for the family of Kelsen Wood, a baby who has already undergone cataract surgery and is currently waiting for a heart transplant. “The medical bills are going to be pretty big, and he’ll be put on a ton of medication when he gets out of the hospital,” said Eric Lund, one of the event organizers. www.fundraising-ideas.org
