Jalapeno Eating Contest and More at Huge Fundraiser

Corpus Christi, TX - A huge fundraising event took place this weekend at JP Luby beach, and everyone was invited. Those who attended Saturday’s events, say their favorite part was the jalapeno eating contest. A man by the nick name of Tiny,was the first contestant to try to break the record. Tiny managed to eat only two Jalapenos total, but said he may have beat the record, here on the coastal bend, because he says "those jalapenos were hot!"  Underneath all the fun, the event benefits two major non-profits here in South Texas. One is a program that enables disabled individual to learn to scuba dive, and the other is The Guardians Rescue, that fosters and adopts out stray pets. www.fundraising-ideas.org
