Kalamazoo, MI -- The
Killamazoo Derby Darlins will host their first "Breast Bout Ever," a
breast cancer fundraiser event, which will take place at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo.
The roller derby team has invited skaters from all over Southwest Michigan to
participate in the event, and will entertain the audience with two games of
roller derby, in addition to a bonus bout with a junior team compiled
specifically for the event.
"This
will be KDD's first fundraiser bout for the American Cancer Society," said
KDD player Caitlin "Killie Holiday" Pasqualone. "We have done
walks before, but nothing quite like this."
