Humane Society Car Wash Fundraiser

Brecknock Township, PA - The Humane Society of Berks County will get a boost from a local car wash business's fundraising efforts.  Scott's Car Wash and Auto Lube raised about $3,000 for the society at its events on Saturday, owner Scott Egolf said.  Fundraisers drew hundreds to the car wash's locations on New Holland Road in Kenhorst and Perkiomen Avenue in Exeter Township. Customers paid $8 to get their cars washed, with proceeds going to the organization. The event, now in its eighth year, is held in conjunction with the Humane Society of Berks County's Walk for the Animals. www.fundraising-ideas.org
