Annual Rhinestones and Rodeo Fundraising Event Saturday night. Down
Country helps raise awareness and help individuals with disabilities. The night included dinner, a silent auction,
a featured speaker and even some dancing. Down Country's 2015 I Learn
recipients were also announced Founder Kate Dougherty says the great thing
about Down Country is the dedication of helping local kids. "Everybody needs to know that Down
Country has no paid staff, it's 100 percent volunteer," Dougherty said.
"And it is 100 percent Tri-State area only. We are local. This is all
about getting your community out to have a voice at the national level. It's
