Fishersville, VA -The community came together on Sunday to fight
the cold and lift the spirits of Mike and Hope Fitzgerald. At
the Augusta Expo on Sunday, a fundraiser was held to help the Fitzgeralds, who
lost their Brans Flat home on January 2.
$7,000 were raised in addition to $1,600 that were donated previously by
aeries and auxiliaries across the state.
The fundraiser was a joint effort between the Augusta County Eagles, the
Staunton Eagles, VTABS (electronic pull-tab company) and the Augusta County
Service Authority. The Goodsons, City
