Fundraising Event to Get Six-Year-Old Autistic Boy a Service Dog

Watsford, England - A fundraising event is being held this weekend for a family to raise money to buy their autistic son an assistance dog.   Six-year-old Thomas Keene of Goodrich Close was found to have autism in January 2014, and has more recently been diagnosed with ADHD.  After scouring websites, Facebook and Google, Thomas's mum, Kay Lythaby, 37, decided the addition of a service puppy to the family would vastly improve his wellbeing and lifestyle. The family have organized a fundraising event to take place on Sunday, April 26 at Clarke Way Community Centre.  There will be a raffle, tombola, cake stall, face painting, lucky dips, a coconut shy and more. www.fundraising-ideas.org
