— Jana Colgin and Dextre Tripp have built their lives around working with
rescue dogs as the owners of the Kannapolis-based circus troupe, Circus Stella.
Named after one of their dogs, the circus features loose rope walking, aerial
silk performances, a trapeze performance and five rescue dogs performing
tricks. Circus Stella will be partnering
once again with the non-profit organization, Spay it Forward, which helps
residents who can’t afford to spay or neuter their animal. The organization
