45 eighth grade students from Prairie River Middle School will be traveling to
Washington D.C. and New York City in June of 2017 for a five-day field trip.
This trip is entirely funded by the students.
In an effort to raise money for their trip, on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10
a.m.-2 p.m., at the Merrill High School field house lobby, the students will be
hosting a “Special Occasion Dress, Purse and Shoes Resale Event.” At this fundraising
event, customers can shop for nearly new attire such as prom, homecoming and
special occasion dresses. The items will be “priced to sell” – prices starting
